"I am continually inspired by the resiliency of the human spirit. It is an honor to witness the power that individuals have within themselves to discover wisdom and walk through change with courage."
A licensed professional counselor, Liz is passionate about creating a safe space for people to find peace in managing stress and feel a greater connection to themselves and their loved ones.
In her practice, Liz sees individuals ages 3 and up and has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, issues related to fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum mood concerns, as well as trauma in both adults and children. Having the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Jonathan Baylin, she is guided by an understanding of neurobiology and attachment-focused practices. Liz incorporates mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT).
Together with a team of like-minded therapists, Liz runs groups and workshops designed to increase parents' confidence in their ability to tune into their children's needs and support them in a calm and mindful way.
